How To Choose Best Monitor

Hey Guys..Today I am Gonna Tell You about resolution and how to choose your display...

First thing you know what is Resolution..Em The proper definition is "The Display Resolution of a digital television or display device is the number of distinct pixels in each dimension that can be displayed."Simply the number of dots properly called as pixels on a display is called the resolution of that display.Now the second thing you should know is ppi(Pixel Per Inches) Yeah you got the right it is the pixel density calculated per unit area. It is calculated by:

PPI = \frac{d_p}{d_i}
  where,
  • d_p is diagonal resolution in pixels,calculated by:
d_p = \sqrt{w_p^2 + h_p^2}
        w_p is width resolution in pixels
        h_p is height resolution in pixels
  • d_i is diagonal size in inches.
 So now as i told you these two properties are very much important because the quality of display is measured by these two properties.

When you are planning to buy a monitor the three things you should keep in mind
  1. What size you should choose for your purpose.
  2. What is the resolution you are getting.
  3. What is the DPI.
So, you should choose the size of your monitor according to what work you gonna do on it.For instance if you are looking for monitor for home purpose you should buy a big size like 20inches or more and if you are buying it for office than 15 to 17 inches as per as your convenience.If you are going to work on applications like Autocad Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D etc. You should buy big one 20inches or more because these application has very tiny text in there interface ,your display should be large so as you can read that easily.And for gamers obviously screen should be large.

Now lets come to resolution, what resolution you should choose depends upon what size you are choosing.
  • If you are buying monitor of size less than 14inches, you can buy 1366X768 resolution that will be cheaper still you want a crisp display you should buy 1600X900 that will be pretty awesome.
  • If You are buying 15 to 17 inches than 1600X900 is basic resolution you should look for , that will be in budget also.
  • If you are buying larger than 17 than you should buy 1920X1080 Full HD,otherwise ppi will be low and you will feel the pixels on the screen.

How To Judge A Graphic Card

Hey Friends!.All Of you people use computer,laptops etc. You All know components of computer i.e. Motherboard,Processor or CPU,RAM,Hard Disk, Graphic Card or GPU etc.Most of you know about configuration of Processor,RAM, etc, so you can easily compare them But Graphic Card is one of the confusing device.Many people doesn't know how to compare Graphic Cards. There is a myth that 2GB of a Graphic Card is better 1GB Graphic Card but it is not.There are many questions related to that.Lets see some common questions..

Q. How Does A Graphic Card Works ?
A. A Graphic Card consist of a processor that processes the graphics and a video memory or video ram
in which it store them temporarily. There are two type of GPUs IGP(Integrated Graphic Processor)
DGP(Dedicated Graphic Processor) .The first one also known as chipset is integrated in motherboard
so called integrated processor.The other one is connected from outside through a port called PCIE
port and needs an external power supply.The graphics is processed by core clock and  written into
video ram.There is another term Shaders. Shaders are actually that part which control the pixels of
graphics.

Q. How To Check Specification Of Your Graphic Card  ?
A. You can use a simple tool as gpu-z. It will show the properties of your Graphic Card like this.
     You can download it here:  gpu-z 0.6.3

Q.How To Compare Two Graphic Card ?
A.To compare the two Graphic Cards we should first look at the memory type.There are basically three types of memory types are popular DDR3,GDDR3,GDDR5. The GDDR3 type memory is two times faster than DDR3 and GDDR5 is two times faster than GDDR3.Now you should look at the clocks Core clock and Memory clock both are important.The GPU having Core Clock more in same memory type will be good i.e If there are two GDDR5 cards one with 700MHz Core Clock size 2GB and other with 900Mhz Core Clock and size 1GB ,The card with 900Mhz will perform better.The next feature you should see is Bandwidth the GPU having more bandwidth will perform good.The video RAM size only matters when Display Resolution is large.But if there are same GPUs having same core clock same memory type same Memory Clock than 2GB version will definitely will perform better.

Things You Should Keep In Mind:
  • If You are going to buy a laptop than you should prefer the laptop having better gpu because we usually coudn't use whole of Intel Core i5 or i7 but your gpu will be eaten up.
  • The most expensive component of computer is Graphic Card.
  • Prefer system with Core i5 and GDDR5 GPU than core i7 and DDR3 GPU.
